Requirements

Knowledge of process improvement concepts and methods along with the flexibility and adaptability to accept, support, and deploy new processes in a changing business environment.

Responsibilities

Identifying, initiating, and leading projects to improve service, quality, and operational performance.
Proactively evaluate current processes and systems to identify continuous improvement opportunities within the extended value stream and develop and implement best practices in supply chain disciplines.
Manages and reviews inputs (Sales, Operations, and Inventory Planning process (SOIP), cycle counting, physical inventory, profit planning) and controls (min./max. levels, lead times, etc.) of the ordering process to ensure that inventory levels (purchase parts, WIP, finished goods, consignment, in-transit etc.) to meet division and corporate expectations
Maintains optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements while maximizing turns, minimizing carrying costs and premium transportation charges
Manage the market and receiving areas.
Responsible for developing and improving the internal materials delivery system by using Material Flow (MMF) and Continuous Flow (CCF) processes
Lead and assist in other departments, in particular training, coaching and developing others through lean material principles
Develop and manage KPIs and metrics that align with higher-level objectives
Driving continuous improvement and eliminating waste
