About The Position

Responsible for the coordination of all MD Helicopters trade shows and customer events, using parameters established in annual budgets. Provide support to sales team and international sales representatives for new and existing market development by coordinating marketing materials, support on proposal submittals and providing sales tools.

Requirements

  • Advanced Excel, Access database system, Word and PowerPoint experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of complex variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to multi task and prioritize workload within department.
  • Ability to successfully coordinate efforts of staff outside of individual’s span of authority.
  • Up to twenty-five (25%) travel required with significant customer interface.
  • The ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to concentrate.
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to get along with others or to be part of a team.
  • Access to Export Control Information.
  • Regular attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Sales Department to develop annual trade show list, budget and attendee listing in conjunction with the VP of Sales. Once the budget is determined work within the budget to accommodate the trade shows.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing and payment terms for all events.
  • Supervise and arrange display aircraft, manage booth set up, dismantling and cleaning, and manage logistics coordination for all events, to include helicopter demonstrations.
  • Negotiate with design house on booth layout and cost.
  • Coordinate creation of event graphics displays, and manage inventory of booth components and literature distribution.
  • Arrange housing, badges, and/or travel for all attendees.
  • Negotiate compensation for customer aircraft in conjunction with VP of Sales.
  • Communicate pertinent information regarding the show dates and schedule of events to the company’s show participants.
  • Arrange the press conference as needed for the CEO, and coordinate article submission for daily show publications.
  • Create agendas and identify locations for corporate events including, retaining necessary vendors, pre-planning, onsite event management, catering and AV rental.
  • Negotiate with Distributors for their participation or cost sharing where applicable.
  • Coordinate and order all promotional items for MDHI to include maintenance of promotional inventory, and coordination for trade show events.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive library of product photos and marketing videos.
  • Develop and maintain LAN based market research database that includes proposal templates, presentations, pricing and product information, competitive information and electronic photos.
  • Coordinate and maintain the content of the technical brochures and options catalogs.
  • Maintain the content of the website as it pertains to Sales and Marketing.
  • Develop and maintain product and company presentations for Sales and Marketing organization.
  • Manage and maintain sales department files.
  • Administer Salesforce.com to include coordination with sales team on weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Provide Distributors with marketing materials and associated sales tools.
  • Coordinate with sales department in the development of customer proposals and RFP responses including content and graphics.
  • Coordinate Sales and Marketing content on the MD Website with assistance from the VP of Sales and Marketing.
  • Coordinate media correspondence and internal communications as needed.
