About The Position

We're looking for a Manager, Marketing Communications, with web experience to join our marketing team to drive and execute the outbound marketing for our game-changing co-packaged optics solution. This person is responsible for the creation, execution and measurement of B2B integrated marketing and communications strategies that involve a variety of communication types including the web, content, social media, press, events, and brand. One of the primary responsibilities will be ownership and management of the ayarlabs.com website, working with an external marketing agency. In our dynamic and fast-paced startup environment, the Manager,Marketing Communications should be highly organized, able to translate complex ideas into compelling narratives, manage multiple workstreams, and move projects forward with clarity and momentum. This person should also be a motivated problem-solver with great interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a range of internal functions and external vendors to define and execute strategies. Technology and B2B marketing experience are required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B high-tech marketing communications, content, or digital marketing roles in semiconductors, electronics or data communication
  • Proven ownership of a company website beyond basic updates—strategy, structure, and narrative
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to advance the business narrative to both internal and external audiences through strategic written/visual storytelling and content development
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate technical information into audience-based messaging
  • Collateral/content development for use in multiple communications channels
  • Understanding of B2B social media platforms
  • 4+ years of experience with CRM platforms; Hubspot preferred
  • Strong demonstrated organizational and project/program management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels, including senior leadership (both internally and with customers/partners)
  • Experience managing external partners and agencies for on-time, on-budget deliverables (design and PR agencies, vendors, conference organizers)

Responsibilities

  • Web strategy and execution: Own the company website end-to-end, including messaging, information architecture, SEO strategy, and content strategy
  • Marketing Communications Planning: Collaborate with marketing partners to develop and execute strategy-driven integrated communications plans
  • Digital Marketing: Develop and execute social media, direct marketing and web strategies working with agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Brand: Create content in various mediums (papers, webinars, videos, articles, email, etc.) to engage target audiences. Ensure communications materials are consistent with established guidelines and processes.
  • Objectives and Measurement: Ensure communications objectives are set as part of the plan and work with the internal team and agencies/vendors as appropriate to ensure the measurement plan is developed and executed.
  • Optimization: Work with partners to ensure initiatives meet objectives. Provide guidance and feedback on areas of continuous improvement.
  • Project Management: Leverage proven skills in organizing, executing, and managing multiple projects at once utilizing tools and templates to track and communicate project status and next steps.
  • Writing/Editing: Create ad-hoc copy for social, web, blogs and other short-form marketing materials based on company messaging; Review product and technical documents for appropriate messaging and branding.
