About The Position

We are a unique and rapidly expanding primary care provider focused on transforming healthcare for seniors. We are seeking innovative and entrepreneurial individuals with a strong work ethic and ambition to join our team. The Manager, Market Sales (MSM) is responsible for leading a team of field-based growth professionals within a defined geographic area. MSMs are the main point of contact for growth activities in their territory, overseeing day-to-day sales efforts to ensure consistent and profitable new patient acquisitions. They create strategies and action plans to drive both short- and long-term sales earnings, partnering with selling agents and health insurance sales leaders. Additionally, MSMs collaborate with center operations leaders to drive overall net growth, focusing on successful new patient onboarding and member retention efforts. This includes scheduling appointments, completing paperwork, orienting new patients, generating referrals, supporting retention initiatives, and participating in member recapture efforts.

  • BA/BS degree required OR additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis.
  • A minimum of 7 years of sales experience required.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role leading a sales team of direct reports required.
  • A minimum of 2 years using contact relationship management tools.
  • A valid Class C or D or State equivalent driver's license, issued by the State of current employment, required.
  • Current, personal automobile insurance needs to be equal or greater than your state, county or city requirements. Must have $100,000 No-Fault or Personal Injury (PIP)/$300,000 Property Damage Liability (PDL) Limits requirement on the personal automobile insurance policy.
  • Incumbents in this role will be subject to bi-annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks to ensure proper compliance.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervises a team of sales professionals to ensure sales goals are met or exceeded.
  • Provides reliable, efficient support for the team.
  • Leads all aspects of leading the team including selection, onboarding, performance management, and engagement.
  • Manages, coaches, and provides training to field-based sales professionals to develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Monitors performance of sales team on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, providing monthly and quarterly results assessments.
  • Leads and facilitates team meetings and training, educating team members on sales processes, procedures, tools, and practices.
  • Leads sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with key local communities serving Medicare-eligible seniors, leveraging connections to increase community events and engagement.
  • Spends strategic time in the field with Membership Growth Consultants to observe sales events, value proposition adherence, conversion rates, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborates with the Regional Sales Director to develop plans and tactics for new patient acquisition, including specific strategies for AEP, OEP, and SEP enrollment periods.
  • Aligns and partners with operations leaders on new patient onboarding and field-based member retention efforts.
  • Focuses on efficient and effective new patient onboarding, including scheduling, paperwork completion, and support of new patient orientation sessions.
  • Supports proactive member retention initiatives and participates in target member recapture efforts.
  • Leverages contact relationship management tools, personally and with the team, to manage the lead pipeline process.
  • Establishes strong relationships with sales agents and health insurance sales leaders in a defined geographic area.
  • Collaborates with sales leadership to establish and control budgets for community and broker events, reviewing expenses and recommending economies.
  • Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable results.
  • Understands and trains Membership Growth Consultants on incentive compensation plans, assisting in the incentive review and validation process.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.
