About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Management Company Manager to join our Alternative Investment Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all accounting and financial reporting activities for our Management Company entities. This role requires an individual with strong attention to detail, exceptional analytical skills, client servicing and experience in the alternative investment industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Over five years of experience in accounting and financial reporting within the alternative investment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders while meeting tight deadlines with precision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experienced with QuickBooks.
  • Familiar with ERP systems like Sage or NetSuite.
  • Continuously strengthening accounting expertise.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional qualification such as CPA, ACA, or ACCA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounting and financial reporting for Management Company entities, including financial statements, management accounts, and regulatory reporting.
  • Oversee fiscal operations such as the chart of accounts, accounts payable/receivable, and expense allocations including travel and entertainment.
  • Lead the monthly close cycle, ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and collaborate with client finance teams.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.
  • Reconcile cash flows, prepare ad-hoc reports, and support new client onboarding.
  • Contribute to developing financial controls and streamline processes.
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver accurate and timely reporting.
  • Manage and develop accounting teams across multiple entities and locations with proven leadership skills.
