About The Position

The role of Manager - Maintenance and Facilities is oversight for Continental Plastic's (CPC) maintenance and facility work areas to drive profitability and achieve organizational KPI's and strategic objectives. This includes managing the upkeep of all manufacturing, facility, and grounds assets, managing the maintenance and facilities budget and resources, and assisting in the design and installation of new systems. Under the guidance of the Director - Operations, responsibilities include: Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. Oversee all maintenance and facility activities, including preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Ensure maximum equipment uptime through effective troubleshooting, repair planning, and reliability initiatives. Manage maintenance projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvements from planning through completion. Maintain compliance with OSHA and other applicable safety and regulatory requirements. Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships to control costs and support operational goals. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that increase productivity, reduce downtime, and improve equipment performance.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with 7+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and HVAC systems, along with equipment reliability and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, building codes, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN Manufacturing); forklift and aerial lift certification preferred or ability to obtain.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as Epicor CMS, with strong communication, problem-solving, project management, and team leadership skills in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
