Think you have what it takes? Kaufman Rossin is seeking an experienced Tax Manager with M&A experience to join our dynamic Tax Advisory Services team. This leadership role focuses on supporting corporate and private equity clients through buy-side and sell-side transactions, delivering high-quality tax due diligence, structuring advice, and transaction modeling.

Requirements

CPA or JD required.
4–5+ years of public accounting experience, with exposure to tax due diligence, transaction tax, or M&A tax advisory.
Strong knowledge of U.S. federal corporate and partnership tax principles.
Experience working directly with clients and managing multiple concurrent projects.
Strong technical research, analytical, and tax modeling capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex tax matters for non-tax audiences.
Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Support corporate and private equity clients in connection with buy-side and sell-side transactions, including tax due diligence, transaction structuring, and tax modeling.
Lead and manage tax due diligence engagements from planning through report delivery.
Prepare and present tax due diligence findings and comprehensive reports to senior management, executive stakeholders, and client leadership teams.
Lead technical tax research on complex issues and develop practical tax planning strategies within the context of transactions.
Analyze and advise on Subchapter C, Subchapter K, and other U.S. federal corporate and partnership tax matters related to M&A activity.
Review tax provisions in merger agreements and legal documents and provide structuring insights.
Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, managing multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate closely with Partners and Directors on complex technical matters.
Mentor and develop Associates and Seniors, reviewing work product and providing meaningful feedback.
Ensure compliance with Kaufman Rossin’s quality control and engagement management standards.
