About The Position

The Manager of Lift Experience provides leadership and operational oversight for Lift Experience teams across Boston Mills, Brandywine. This role is responsible for delivering safe, efficient operations while creating an exceptional guest and employee experience. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can manage multiple priorities, develop teams, drive accountability, and collaborate across departments to achieve resort objectives.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
5+ years of leadership experience in lift operations, mountain operations, or related field.
Strong leadership, organizational, decision-making, and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work effectively across departments and manage competing priorities.
At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Lead and support Lift Experience leadership teams across all three resorts.
Develop employees through coaching, training, and performance management.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and guest service excellence.
Identify and develop future leaders within the department.
Oversee daily and seasonal Lift Experience operations.
Maintain compliance with company, OSHA, ANSI, and industry standards.
Lead seasonal staffing, training, and operational readiness efforts.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Partner with Patrol, Ski & Ride School, Snowmaking, Grooming, Lift Maintenance, Terrain Park, Building Maintenance, Guest Services, Food & Beverage, and Resort Leadership.
Support resort-wide initiatives focused on safety, guest experience, and operational excellence.
Assist with special events, peak-period operations, and emergency response coordination.
Manage labor and operating expenses within budget expectations.
Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and labor planning.
Utilize performance metrics and KPIs to improve effectiveness.
