About The Position

Inter Miami CF is seeking a Manager, Licensing & Merchandising to serve as the right-hand partner to the Director, Licensing & Merchandising. This role is critical to the execution, operational excellence, and day-to-day management of the club’s licensed and owned merchandise business. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytically strong, and execution-focused, with a deep understanding of product lifecycle management, assortment planning, and cross-functional coordination. This role ensures that strategy turns into action and that licensed merchandise programs are delivered on time, on brand, and on budget.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, planning, or licensed product management.
  • Strong operational and analytical skill set, with experience managing SKUs, inventory, and timelines.
  • Proven ability to manage complex workflows across multiple stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to balance precision and speed.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven retail or consumer products environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the Director to execute seasonal merchandising strategies and licensed product roadmaps.
  • Own day-to-day merchandising workflows, including line planning, SKU tracking, and product lifecycle management.
  • Manage purchase orders, costing, margin tracking, and inventory flow in collaboration with Planning and Finance.
  • Ensure licensed and owned products are delivered on schedule and meet quality, brand, and compliance standards.
  • Support assortment planning across retail channels, stadium, e-commerce, and special events.
  • Track inventory performance and provide insights to optimize sell-through and replenishment decisions.
  • Coordinate closely with Merchandise Planner and Retail Operations to mitigate inventory risk.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination between Licensing, Creative, Retail Operations, Finance, and external vendors.
  • Translate high-level strategy into detailed execution plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Ensure alignment across teams on product readiness, launch timing, and merchandising priorities.
  • Drive projects from concept handoff through execution with minimal oversight.
  • Identify process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of merchandising operations.
  • Act as a trusted thought partner to the Director, proactively flagging risks, gaps, and opportunities.
