The Licensing Project Manager oversees the management of licensing projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and the timely delivery of project milestones to meet production deadlines. • Proficiency with Google Drive and Excel/Google Sheets; experience with project management software a plus (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Jira, Trello, Smartsheet, MS Project).
  • Clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with strong follow-through.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating with external partners.

  • Supports licensing projects as needed, including ideation and research related to potential artwork selections for prospective collaborators; gathering reference materials, internal stakeholder input, and relevant market research to inform project direction, strengthen partner discussions, and support product development.
  • Ensures licensee compliance with licensing agreements and MoMA’s brand, legal, and content guidelines.
  • Facilitates clear, consistent communication with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Curatorial, Retail, Marketing, Finance, and external licensing partners.
  • Proactively schedules meetings, prepares agendas, and follows up on action items to keep initiatives moving forward.
