About The Position

Dominion Energy is seeking a Manager-Internal Communications to help lead in developing comprehensive communication programs that keep employees informed of company events, industry events, relevant business issues, company issues, and human resources matters. This role involves developing story ideas, making assignments, and editing/producing news and feature articles for company publications, videos, and the intranet. The position may also involve supervising or performing desktop publishing and photography, as well as directing and counseling other Internal Communications employees.

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience in news media or corporate communications or a related discipline.
• Experience managing enterprise-wide employee communications.
• Experience supervising and providing guidance to team members.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to interact with and counsel senior management.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with utility communications is preferred but not required.
