The Manager of the Interior Design Unit provides leadership and strategic oversight for the planning, design, and implementation of interior environments across the university campus. This position directs the Interior Design team within Facilities Planning, and collaborates with architects, engineers, contractors, and campus stakeholders to ensure that interior spaces support the university’s academic mission, institutional values, and long‑term campus development goals. The Manager ensures that all interior design projects—ranging from small renovations to major building initiatives—are executed according to university standards, regulatory requirements, and budget constraints while maintaining high levels of design quality, durability, and stewardship. This individual serves as a key liaison between university leadership, campus clients, consultants, and internal project teams throughout all phases of interior design work. This position requires to be fully on-site at the assigned campus location.
