About The Position

The Manager, Insight Outcomes and Real-World Evidence will help build and execute the clinical outcomes, registry, and evidence-generation strategy for ATEC's Insight platform. This role is responsible for translating Insight's clinical and business objectives into practical study plans, patient-reported outcomes workflows, investigator engagement, evidence outputs, and cross-functional execution that support clinical adoption, reimbursement strategy, payer-facing evidence, regulatory needs, and commercial differentiation. This position is intended for a hands-on clinical evidence leader who can operate across Scientific Affairs, Regulatory, Marketing, Commercial Teams, and external clinical sites. The role will focus on building an outcome infrastructure that supports Insight as a clinical intelligence and value-generation platform, not simply a software tool.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, clinical research, biotechnology, epidemiology, public health, health economics, healthcare administration, or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 6 to 8 years of progressive experience in real-world evidence, clinical registries, health economics and outcomes research, healthcare analytics in digital health, medical imaging, spine/orthopedic or related fields.
  • Experience developing and managing clinical registries and integrating diverse healthcare data sources, including EHRs, imaging, patient-reported outcomes, claims, administrative coding, and digital health or wearable data. Knowledge of interoperability standards is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with observational study design, real-world evidence methodologies, comparative effectiveness research, and healthcare economics.
  • Familiarity with patient-reported outcomes instruments commonly used in spine and orthopedics, including pain, function, quality of life, or recovery assessment preferred.
  • Awareness of reimbursement, payer evidence, health economics, value-based care, alternative payment models, coding strategy, claims data, and hospital performance metrics preferred.
  • Understanding of how clinical evidence supports product claims, regulatory submissions, market access, physician adoption, and scientific credibility.
  • Knowledge, understanding, and application of the conduct of clinical investigations involving humans in accordance ICH/GCP, US Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), and the ethical principles that guide clinical research consistent with the principles of the Nuremberg Code, the Belmont Report and the Declaration of Helsinki.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex evidence needs into actionable research plans and meaningful clinical, operational, economic, and reimbursement insights.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of influencing cross-functional teams, building trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and communicating complex information to technical and executive audiences.
  • Results-oriented project leadership, demonstrating sound judgment, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the Insight evidence strategy, aligning real-world evidence, outcomes research, and value evidence with product innovation, clinical adoption, reimbursement, publication, and commercial objectives.
  • Identify evidence gaps and define research priorities that demonstrate the clinical, operational, and economic value of Insight-enabled spine care.
  • Partner with Marketing, Scientific Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial teams to ensure evidence generation supports strategic business priorities and future product claims.
  • Oversee the development and adoption of the real-world evidence platform by integrating clinical registries with patient-reported outcomes, imaging, EHRs, activity monitoring, healthcare claims, coding databases, and other relevant data sources.
  • Establish scalable processes for data collection, quality, governance, and longitudinal outcomes tracking to support clinical research, benchmarking, and advanced analytics.
  • Develop evidence assets that enable providers, hospitals, and payers to evaluate clinical performance, operational efficiency, patient recovery, and economic value.
  • Design and oversee observational studies, registry analyses, and outcomes research that generate evidence supporting clinical utility, healthcare economics, reimbursement, and value-based care.
  • Independently drive collaboration with internal and external research partners to translate real-world data into actionable insights, predictive analytics, publications, and scientific presentations.
  • Support the development of value dossiers, reimbursement evidence, and health economic analyses for providers, health systems, and payers.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with investigators, clinical sites, academic partners, and professional societies to expand Insight evidence generation and scientific engagement.
  • Support investigator-initiated research and multicenter collaborations that strengthen the clinical and economic evidence supporting Insight technologies.
