You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed. We are looking for an IT Manager to support HarbourVest's Enterprise Investment Office (EIO) to drive platform automation and modernization. This person will lead a mid-size team and will deliver transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, data quality, and integration across investment technologies. The ideal candidate is someone who: Thrives in a highly collaborative environment and partners optimally with both business and technology teams Can lead transformation initiatives and drive modernization across multiple systems Has a technological approach with a deep understanding of system integrations and platform management Has a track record of leading teams to deliver business outcomes

Requirements

  • 5–10 years working in technology roles within financial services or FinTech
  • 3+ years of people-management experience
  • Shown background in platform ownership and technology delivery
  • Experience leading teams across multi-functional areas within an IT/business hybrid model
  • Familiarity with investment data flows and/or investment technology processes
  • Experience working with vendor platforms (AllView, DealCloud, Appian is preferred but not required)
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and sophisticated system integrations
  • Good communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to drive modernization and transformation initiatives

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates with solid experience in financial services or FinTech, particularly investment-related platforms, are preferred

Responsibilities

  • Partner with EIO to advance automation and improve data services for integrated investment workflows spanning several platforms/technologies
  • Develop a team consisting of Business Analysts, Tech Leads, and Contractors
  • Be responsible for AI‑supported capabilities within the platform and find opportunities for improvement
  • Drive and implement technology transformation initiatives across the investment platform ecosystem
