MANAGER IN TRAINING

AutoZone•Carrollton, TX

About The Position

The Manager in Training (MIT) is a transitional role designed to prepare the employee for promotion into a Retail Store Management position. The role provides leadership training, customer-service development, and operational experience through hands-on assignments and structured learning opportunities. Under the Store Manager’s guidance, MITs lead by example, demonstrate initiative, and support store performance and team development. Progression into management may occur within 8–12 weeks depending on prior experience and performance, but promotion is performance-based and subject to management availability. MITs must demonstrate consistent progression throughout the training program to be considered for management openings. AutoZone’s Store Management team works to drive store performance, foster a productive team, and provide exceptional customer service while executing store operations. AutoZone describes its customer-first culture as centered on “Live The Pledge,” “WOW! Customer Service,” and “Going the Extra Mile.”
