About The Position

The Manager in Training (MIT) program at Drury Hotels is an intensive 14-week experience designed for recent college graduates who want to launch a career in hospitality management. This program offers the chance to join a family-owned company with over 150 hotels in 30 states and begin building a future in the industry. Participants will gain hands-on experience at a top-performing hotel, report to the General Manager, and work with a dedicated mentor. The program involves rotating through all areas of hotel operations, including housekeeping, food & beverage, guest services, and administration. Trainees will also transition into management responsibilities, such as serving as Manager on Duty. Upon successful completion, graduates will be prepared for a supervisory or management role aligned with their strengths.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old at the start of the program
  • 100% relocatable after program completion
  • Nine months of prior work experience (hotel or restaurant preferred)
  • Leadership experience (work or classroom)
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field
  • Energetic, personable, and passionate about creating memorable guest experiences
  • Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Graduates can begin the program up to one year post-graduation
