About The Position

This role is a player/coach position responsible for managing complex health plan administration implementations and leading a team of Implementation Project Managers (IPMs). The Manager will set the standard for client implementation experiences, directly managing projects, mentoring their team, and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery. The position involves client-facing responsibilities, risk management, escalation resolution, and supporting business growth through pre-sales activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of project management or client implementation experience, with direct client and/or broker-facing responsibilities.
Experience in health plan insurance, benefits administration, or a TPA environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with project management tools including Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of Implementation Project Managers, providing guidance and driving consistent, high-quality delivery.
Serve as the client-facing expert on operational aspects of health plan administration solutions, managing timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder alignment.
Identify implementation risks, dependencies, and barriers early, escalating issues and coordinating cross-functional resolution.
Resolve client and broker concerns with urgency and professionalism, ensuring seamless transitions.
Participate in pre-sales activities including RFP responses, prospect meetings, and operational solutioning.
