About The Position

ECTC is seeking a Manager II, Accounting for the Business Office on-site to ensure the accurate recording and reporting of a unit's financial transactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Completes monthly and other regular account reconciliation reports, including Cash, Gift, Grant, and liability accounts. Analyzes financial reports, data, and records, identifies discrepancies, investigates, and recommends solutions as needed.
  • Tracks, reconciles, and monitors daily Perkins accounting processes, including reporting and coordination of accounting activities.
  • Completes journals and reports for various financial needs within an automated financial system to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions.
  • Supervises two staff positions related to college billing activities, including Third Party, Dual Credit, and Centralized billing.
  • Develops and maintains automated financial systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
  • Assists in the compilation and completion of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial reports.
  • Provides budget information and projections based on existing data and established policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
