About The Position

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. As a Manager of ICT Design Engineering, you will lead a team of ICT Design Engineers across the Americas region, responsible for designing the telecommunications pathways, spaces, and building operations cable plant that forms the backbone of AWS data center operations. Your team is the critical bridge between network requirements and physical infrastructure — translating complex networking needs into buildable, cost-effective designs that enable capacity delivery at scale. In this role, you'll manage a geographically distributed team of engineers, drive design standardization across multiple build types (Commercial, Colocation, and Amazon Dedicated Cloud), and own the strategic direction of ICT infrastructure design for the Americas. You'll partner with Networking, Construction, Global Network Deployment, Security, Controls, and other engineering teams to ensure our designs meet current requirements while anticipating future network and compute evolution. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of data center telecommunications infrastructure at the world's largest cloud provider, while developing and growing a team of industry-leading engineers.
