About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist with a specialization in recruitment and employee relations. This role will be integral in supporting the organization’s talent acquisition strategies and fostering a fair, consistent, and positive employee experience. The HR Generalist will partner with department leaders and employees to deliver responsive, people-focused HR services.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on recruitment and/or employee relations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field required.
  • Broad understanding of key principles and practices in Human Resources Management
  • Strong understanding of best practices in recruitment, including sourcing and screening strategies and technology
  • Knowledge of employee relations practices, including workplace investigations, performance management, conflict resolution, and employment law compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
  • Experience with ADP or other HRIS preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract top talent, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for various positions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, draft job descriptions, and create tailored recruitment plans.
  • Manage job postings on internal and external platforms, ensuring visibility and reach to target audiences.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline through proactive networking, job fairs, and industry events.
  • Coordinate pre-employment processes, including background checks and reference verifications.
  • Support and enhance onboarding efforts to ensure a seamless new hire experience.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers on workplace concerns, policies, and employee relations matters.
  • Support timely, objective workplace investigations and document findings and recommended actions.
  • Coach managers on performance management, corrective action, conflict resolution, and consistent policy application.
  • Partner with the VP, HR on employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations records and support compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as needed, including employee engagement, diversity and inclusion efforts, and organizational development.
