This position offers an opportunity to become part of a dynamic Human Resources team, providing strategic HR partnership to business operations leaders in a function, market, or business unit. You will work closely with senior leaders to shape and execute an HR agenda that enables the organization's goals, partnering with the HR Business Partner Director and peers to optimize talent, engagement, and the overall employee experience. HR Business Partners may support organizations such as Electric Vehicles (EVs), Digital, and Design; Industrial Systems; Corporate Capabilities; and Go-to-Market functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of HR experience
  • Willingness to relocate, depending on location of job
  • Experience with organization design and change management
  • Willingness to work in person at Ford’s Dearborn, MI headquarters

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, an MBA with a concentration in human resources, or advanced degree in a related field (e.g., industrial/organizational psychology, organizational effectiveness, organizational development, human factors, social science)
  • Experience in management consulting
  • Experience supporting a global team
  • Experience supporting Tech/Design teams
  • Experience with recruiting, including executive recruiting, and onboarding
  • Strong project management skills with a high level of attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to solve significant people and culture issues, providing guidance across key employment areas such as hiring, performance management, rewards, and organization design.
  • Collaborate with leaders to support and advance proactive People and Culture strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Communicate the business value of HR initiatives and support program rollouts in a way that minimizes disruption to operations.
  • Work closely with business leaders and Human Resources Centers of Excellence (e.g., Talent and Recruiting) on key initiatives such as workforce planning, high-potential development, succession planning, etc.
  • Support leaders through organization design efforts and lead medium- to large-scale change initiatives impacting teams and functions.
