About The Position

MSC Cruises is expanding its Human Resources department in Miami, FL and is hiring a Manager, HR Operations. This role is responsible for driving the operational excellence of MSC Cruises’ HR function across North America, with a strong focus on HR compliance, HR systems, and compensation administration. Reporting to the Director, HR Operations this role partners closely with HR leadership, Payroll, Legal, Finance, and IT to ensure scalable, compliant, and efficient HR operations that support a growing, complex organization. This is a hybrid position requiring 4 days per week in the office, in Miami.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR operations experience, with demonstrated depth in compliance, HR systems, and compensation administration.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. and Canadian employment compliance as it relates to HR operations and pay practices.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms and HR data/reporting (ADP and / or SuccessFactors preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage complex processes in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and process-driven, with the ability to balance precision and pragmatism.
  • US passport or green card

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across the U.S. and Canada, including wage and hour, classification, audits, and reporting requirements.
  • Own HR operational audits, controls, and documentation; proactively identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Partner with Legal, Payroll, and Finance to ensure HR policies, processes, and data integrity align with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update HR operational procedures, SOPs, and controls to support consistency and scalability.
  • Serve as the primary operational owner for HR systems (HRIS and related tools), ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and effective workflows.
  • Lead system enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements in partnership with IT and external vendors.
  • Develop and maintain HR reporting, dashboards, and analytics to support leadership decision-making.
  • Drive standardization and automation of HR processes to improve efficiency and employee experience.
  • Manage day-to-day compensation operations, including job architecture, salary administration, incentive processes, and pay cycle execution.
  • Support annual compensation planning cycles, merit reviews, and market benchmarking.
  • Partner with Finance and leadership on budgeting, modeling, and compensation governance.
  • Ensure compensation practices are compliant, competitive, and consistently applied.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR operational processes, reduce manual work, and improve accuracy and turnaround times.
  • Act as a trusted operational partner to HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence, providing guidance on systems, data, and compensation processes.
