About The Position

Imagine Pediatrics is a tech-enabled, pediatrician-led medical group that is reimagining care for children with special healthcare needs. They deliver 24/7 virtual-first and in-home medical, behavioral, and social care, collaborating with families, providers, and health plans to overcome barriers to quality care. Their approach enhances existing care teams by providing an additional layer of support with compassion, creativity, and a strong commitment to children with medical complexity. The primary location for this position is remote, with quarterly travel to Tampa, FL. The typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Eastern Time.

Requirements

  • Passionate and committed to reimagining pediatric healthcare and creating a world where every child with special health care needs gets the care and support they deserve.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Current State of Florida RN License required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of nursing experience.
  • Must have the ability to work well with others.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Regular attendance is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or other field preferred.
  • Compact RN License strongly preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned Health Services staff, fostering a healthy work and learning environment.
  • Ensure adequate training for new and existing staff.
  • Maintain adequate coverage in the assigned health services area and justify changes in staffing levels when necessary.
  • Hire, counsel, and provide performance management to staff.
  • Offer ongoing feedback and coaching to staff.
  • Conduct timely annual performance reviews for all assigned staff according to Human Resources policies.
  • Monitor expenses and budget compliance in collaboration with the VP and Director of Health Services.
  • Provide justification for necessary capital and operational expenses with the VP and Director of Health Services or Operations Manager.
  • Ensure efficient and effective resource utilization in daily management decisions.
  • Support and operationalize the integrated model of care.
  • Lead quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in nursing research activities and support evidence-based pediatric nursing.
  • Model a caring philosophy focused on health promotion and safety education.
  • Champion age-appropriate developmental considerations and holistic patient care.
  • Direct health services planning and policy making through collaboration in key committees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
