About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to lead and direct a GP PS Hatchery Team to deliver high‑quality products that meet customer expectations while achieving financial and business objectives. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a general professional field, typically obtained through four (4) years of college, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Four (4) or more years of poultry management–related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals using available computer programs.
  • Direct supervision of: Four(4)+ salaried team members Approximately 40+ hourly team members
  • Domestic travel approximately four (4) times per year.
  • This jobsite is a biosecure environment requiring shower‑in/shower-out procedures, which may include multiple showers during the workday. The Company provides all required clothing and footwear. No jewelry may be worn except approved medical ID jewelry. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid contact with avian species (chickens, ducks, birds). Must follow the Company Animal Welfare Policy at all times. Must follow all Cobb Farms Hatcheries Biosecurity Standards.
  • Must use safe lifting techniques.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects or controls, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talk, and hear.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Must follow all required safety procedures and wear designated personal protective equipment when visiting facilities.
