About The Position

The Manager, Global Trade (GT) supports the implementation and sustainment of Global Trade tools within the Raytheon export compliance environment. The role focuses on deploying new capabilities, developing user resources, resolving tool issues, and supporting employees through process and system changes. This role will support compliance system enhancements under the RTX Consent Agreement and will provide ongoing support and continuous improvement of these systems.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Experience managing processes related to regulatory and / or compliance requirements
  • Experience applying, enhancing and / or deploying digital technology or Global Trade tools to facilitate compliance
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in system enhancements, integrations, or process‑automation initiatives
  • Strong cross‑functional teaming to identify system workflows, data requirements, and compliance impacts
  • Experience working with Global Trade compliance systems or digital trade compliance tools, such as SAP GTS, OCR, RGEMS, or similar platforms
  • Strong background in U.S. and international trade regulations, including import/export controls, customs requirements, and preferential trade programs (e.g. ITAR, EAR, Customs, etc.)
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and translate functional knowledge into practical guidance for business users
  • Experience working in a global, fast‑paced environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Support, maintain, and enhance Global Trade digital tools and systems, including learning their functionality, configuration, and interaction within the broader business environment. This may include updates to the existing compliance systems and/or new tool implementation.
  • Serve as a subject‑matter (SME) resource for Global Trade technologies by helping team members and cross‑functional partners understand tool capabilities, workflows, and best‑use practices.
  • Collaborate with functional stakeholders such as Digital Technology, Supply Chain, Operations, and others to ensure Global Trade tools remain aligned with business processes, regulatory changes, and operational requirements.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues or inefficiencies, and coordinate improvements, enhancements, and troubleshooting with internal and external partners.
  • Develop and deliver training, job aids, and reference materials to drive adoption and effective use of Global Trade tools across the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize trade operations through automation, digital enhancements, trade programs, and continuous process improvement.
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed to support projects.
