About The Position

In this highly visible hybrid work opportunity as a Global Trade Site Lead for a headquarter location, based out of East Hartford, Connecticut, you will partner with the GT Program Support (GTPS) teams located at the site to ensure compliance with Global Trade rules and regulations and program alignment across the GTPS teams. This role will report to the GT Program Management Office (PMO). Primary functions include, but are not limited to, maintaining a site presence, coordinating site GT Council(s), support site-wide communications, coordination between the GTPS teams, management of facility requirements and ensure program alignment across the site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of global trade experience, including experience in roles that ensure compliance with the ITAR, EAR, and U.S. sanctions regulations; OR Advanced Degree and 5+ years of global trade experience, including experience in roles that ensure compliance with the ITAR, EAR, and U.S. sanctions regulations
  • US Citizen due to program requirements

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Global Trade contact for the East Hartford or Longueuil site, providing comprehensive coordination across the site.
  • Partner with GTPS to identify, assess, and manage global trade issues, opportunities or enhancements at the physical site.
  • Lead/coordinate site level GT council(s) with the GT community at the site.
  • Serve as point of contact for site level audit(s), corrective actions, site card maintenance and related data.
  • The ability to communicate clearly, build relationships, exercise good judgment and work effectively across P&W is critical in this role.
