Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Develop suppliers to meet special capabilities, processes, capacity and quality.
  • Support Quality Improvement work assistance via Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events and auditing suppliers.
  • Meet key performance measures within the organization in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
  • Determine and maintain the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) budgetary planning and ensure launch dates and cost reduction targets are met.
  • Provide direction in developing employee base and driving improvements within key functions in area of responsibility.
  • Maintain effective relationships with key internal customers and support organizations.
  • Work with cross functional departments, to develop cost reduction and avoidance initiatives and supply base improvement projects.
  • Perform quantitative, statistical, and risk analyses to determine the direct and indirect costs.
  • Follow Six Sigma and continuous improvement processes to improve departmental performance on an on-going basis.
