About The Position

The Monash Abroad team has an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Manager, Global Study Tours. The Manager, Global Study Tours position at Monash Abroad operates under broad direction from the Director to provide high-level programming, operational and engagement leadership for student mobility initiatives. This autonomous role serves as a key coordinator within the learning abroad framework, focusing on the innovative development, administration and execution of Monash-led overseas initiatives, including Global Study Tours, Global Professional Experiences and Global Co-Curricula programs. Working across internal faculties and portfolios, global sites, partner universities and government agencies, the Manager champions program safety, travel preparedness and inclusive design to maximize educational impact within set timeframes and budgets. Core operational responsibilities encompass managing the complete program lifecycle, from optimising mobility systems and data management to delivering expert advice that expands student access and participation. The role is heavily involved in application management, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and procurement for external providers. Additionally, the Manager conducts targeted research to resolve complex program challenges, prepares strategic reports for senior leadership and maintains strong collaborative networks with international partner institutions.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate qualifications (or progress toward them) combined with extensive experience in learning and teaching, or significant management experience in collaborative programming with global organisations.
  • Equivalent combinations of relevant professional experience, education and specialised training will also be considered.

Responsibilities
