About The Position

Leads Brown Health's enterprise gift administration program, ensuring gifts are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with donor intent, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Establishes service standards and quality controls supporting timely gift entry, reconciliation, and financial reporting. Requirements

  • 5+ years of advancement services, gift administration, finance, or accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of gift processing, financial controls, and nonprofit compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve enterprise service standards for gift processing accuracy and turnaround.
  • Maintain compliance with gift acceptance policies, audit requirements, and financial controls.
  • Deliver timely reconciliation and reporting in partnership with Finance.
  • Lead enterprise gift administration operations, including gift intake and handling, CRM processing, adjustments, reconciliation, documentation, and financial controls.
  • Develop policies, procedures, quality assurance standards, and service level expectations in partnership with Data staff.
  • Serve as primary liaison with Finance regarding reconciliation, audits, fund administration, and gift compliance.
  • Produce and maintain Pledge Aging reports for review with fundraisers to assess risk and write off needs in accordance with financial policies.
  • Oversee funds, campaigns, and appeals creation needs in CRM for accurate and timely entry of gifts.
  • Monitor workload, staffing, service levels, and departmental performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and operational quality.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop gift administration staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
