The Manager General Accounting is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This position manages and coaches a subordinate group. The Accounting Manager is responsible for some of the following areas, including, but not limited to: Prepares monthly financial reporting for executive management and board, and quarterly reporting for outside sources. Creates and maintains the intercompany process. Supports the budgeting process. Prepares and reviews account reconciliations. Works with external auditors. Manages projects pertaining to the general ledger. Accurate reporting of debt, investments, joint ventures, grants, Foundation, and payroll transactions. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.
