As a Manager, Gas Operations, you will lead the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a combined-cycle power generation facility while developing a skilled and engaged operations team. You’ll oversee daily plant operations, strengthen operational performance, and collaborate with plant leadership to support member service, regulatory compliance, and long-term facility goals. This role aligns with AECI’s Manager leadership level, with accountability for team performance, annual objectives, and results within the operations function.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or eight years of combined-cycle power plant experience.
At least five years of experience supervising or leading personnel.
In-depth knowledge of combustion turbine operations and strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems.

Responsibilities

Lead daily plant operations with a strong focus on safety, reliability, environmental compliance, NERC requirements, and efficient power generation.
Monitor plant equipment and operating data, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities to improve reliability, productivity, efficiency, and cost performance.
Coordinate planned and unplanned operational activities and support outage planning and execution across plant teams.
Partner with plant leadership on budgeting, annual operating plans, performance reporting, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
