About The Position

This role is responsible for coordinating the operations within the Food Services Department to meet or exceed food service requirements. The Manager ensures adequate staffing, assigns tasks based on patient/resident needs and staff competency, and collaborates with other healthcare team members. Key responsibilities include problem-solving, decision-making, staff performance monitoring, managing daily operations, communicating and training on policies, and supervising employee relations to foster a positive work environment. The role also involves managing departmental financial operations, including budgeting and expense monitoring, and ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and life safety regulations.

Responsibilities
