The Manager, Fleet Services Automation Engineering leads the design, integration, and continuous improvement of automation systems within fleet operations. About the team: The Fleet Services Automation Engineering team drives sustainable transportation and operational excellence across Walmart’s fleet operations. This team leads initiatives to optimize workflows, implement best practices, and support continuous improvement efforts. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, the team leverages data analysis and automation technologies to enhance efficiency and standardization. Members contribute to transforming fleet processes while managing multiple projects and ensuring alignment with enterprise goals. The team values clear communication, strategic problem-solving, and a commitment to advancing innovative solutions that support Walmart’s operational success and sustainability objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Industrial Engineering or related field
- 2-4 years’ experience in Engineering, supply chain, automated manufacturing, or related field
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence effectively – confidence, credibility, and concise, organized thoughts
- The ability to partner and collaborate while establishing credibility, analyzing stakeholder needs, and responding effectively and efficiently
- Demonstratable business acumen and ownership of project activity
- Leading in design and development of progressing alternate fuel vehicle technologies
- Establishing, influencing, and managing high-visibility key supplier relationships
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 2 years’ experience in engineering, supply chain, or related area.
- 4 years’ experience in engineering, supply chain, or related area.
