We are looking for a talented Head of Maintenance, Recoveries and Repairs to join our Mechanic & Repairs team within the broader Fleet function. Requirements

Proven experience in fleet maintenance management, with a b track record of leading large teams or multiple sub-functions.
Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and deliver measurable improvements in operational performance.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and performance analytics.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external partners to achieve shared objectives.
Commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices in fleet maintenance and repairs.

Nice To Haves

Significant experience in a senior maintenance, recoveries, or repairs leadership role within a fleet, automotive, or related industry.
Experience managing workshop networks and end-to-end repair processes.
Background in driving cost efficiency, reducing downtime, and enhancing vehicle availability.
History of successful team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
Familiarity with buy-back, reconditioning, and fleet recovery operations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Drive the strategic and operational performance of fleet maintenance across all workshop networks and repair facilities.
Optimize end-to-end repair processes to ensure maximum vehicle availability and cost efficiency.
Lead and inspire large teams and manage key external partners, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance analytics to ensure operational targets are met or exceeded.
Deliver and champion continuous improvement initiatives to reduce vehicle downtime, control buy-back and reconditioning costs, and enhance overall operational outcomes.
Ensure all maintenance, recovery, and repair activities comply with safety, regulatory, and company standards.
Collaborate with senior management to align maintenance strategies with broader business goals.
Report on operational KPIs, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
