About The Position

Empirical is seeking a manager to support a major financial systems modernization initiative with advanced Business Intelligence (BI), data warehouse, and reporting expertise. If you have deep experience with financial, procurement, or asset management systems and enjoy shaping enterprise reporting and analytics, this role gives you the opportunity to drive high‑impact transformation work.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience supporting financial, procurement, or asset management systems, including BI development, data architecture, and data warehouse management
  • MA/MS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or related field
  • Strong BI development skills, including dashboards, analytics, and enterprise reporting
  • Deep knowledge of data structures, metadata, data modeling, and data warehouse design
  • Experience working with technical teams, data owners, and senior stakeholders
  • Federal government experience preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation or security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Support financial, procurement, and asset management systems with expert knowledge of data structures, reporting needs, and BI architecture.
  • Design, implement, and enhance dashboards, analysis objects, and enterprise reports.
  • Develop and maintain BI solutions, including data models, metadata, and reporting structures.
  • Improve and manage data warehouse architecture to ensure accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
  • Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance across reporting environments.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, data owners, and program stakeholders to support BI, analytics, and data architecture requirements.
  • Contribute to modernization efforts by improving reporting capabilities and supporting enterprise data strategy.
