Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required
  • 4–6 years of experience in public or private accounting, preferably within the technology industry
  • 3+ years of experience managing associates and/or teams
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, including preparation and analysis of financial statements, KPIs, and cash flow
  • Familiarity with technology industry dynamics, including subscription-based or SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606 preferred)
  • Experience supporting growing organizations, including exposure to capital raises, process improvement, or scaling operations
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and effectively partner with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct) and the ability to adopt new technologies
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Review and deliver financial reports and KPIs.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow modeling.
  • Provide technical accounting assistance to clients and internal engagement teams.
  • Develop and coach staff and senior accountants.
  • Collaborate with advisory teams and external partners.
  • Identify opportunities to transition clients to higher-value services in collaboration with advisory teams.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients, including system setup and process documentation.
  • Monitor team KPIs and implement process improvements.
  • Support the integration of new technology platforms and train team members on system enhancements.
