About The Position

The Manager Financial Planning and Analysis Reporting will be responsible for completing financial analyses and providing data-driven insights on financial performance, both retrospective and prospective, in support of strategic decision making across Leonardo DRS and for use in the development of financial projections and performance commitments. The Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis will play a crucial role in the maturation of corporate financial planning processes and the development of best practices that ensure efficient and effective FP&A operations. This role will support the corporate financial leadership team while also engaging directly with each of the business units.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance with 8+ years of financial analyst experience (or equivalent related education and experience).
  • CPA or MBA preferred
  • Strong analytical mindset combined with technical acumen and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Excel and OneStream
  • Proficient problem-solving and critical thinking expertise
  • Results-focused self-starter with attention to detail
  • Passion for process excellence and takes initiative to drive positive change, in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Organized and agile - Possesses the ability to plan and execute effectively, manage multiple priorities simultaneously and can professionally adapt to new conditions and/or direction

Responsibilities

  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze financial information from across the corporation and business units.
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, KPIs, and performance analyses to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support forecasting, management reporting, and executive financial packages.
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses, insights, and recommendations to support business and leadership decision-making.
  • Drive process improvements, resolve complex issues through root cause analysis, and ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.
