About The Position

This role is at the hub of Insulet’s FPA activity and will work to bring together elements of Strategy, Commercial, Operations and other data in order to provide focused and clear reporting and analysis to constituents including the Board of Directors, Leadership Team and Investor Relations. The position will ensure reporting from the FP&A group is prepared timely and with precision while being informative and insightful. This position reports to the VP FP&A, Corporate & Strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • 7+ years’ experience in global finance organizations including 3+ years of financial planning and analysis experience in a global growth-oriented manufacturing company, with exposure to foreign currencies a plus.
  • Proven ability to learn new accounting & reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to complete task with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication, presence, and relationship building skills at senior levels, with the ability to interpret and summarize data to aid management in achieving strategic and operational goals.
  • Excellent MS Office skills are required.
  • Able to synthesize and analyze large quantities of data to create useful information and concise analyses.
  • Able to effectively manage projects; results oriented and able to roll-up the sleeves in order to accomplish necessary tasks.
  • Able to work in a fast pace, high-growth environment.
  • Has highest standards of integrity reflected in all external and internal communications.
  • Self-motivated, high energy, respectful, honest, hard-working and loyal team.

Nice To Haves

  • Systems savvy - experience with Planful reporting tools is a plus.
  • Experience with robotic process automation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create and distribute the financial reporting that is necessary to measure the financial results and guide future business decisions for Insulet. This includes monthly and quarterly financial packages that track trends and performance of sales, costs, expenses, and other critical metrics.
  • Coordinate global process around budgeting and forecasting to ensure timely delivery of final budgets and forecasts.
  • Design and implement processes and procedures to streamline data gathering and reporting in support of Board of Director, Leadership team, Investor Relations, and others. Identify opportunities and technologies including robotic process automation to streamline reporting processes and lead teams to capitalize on the opportunities identified.
  • Drive better usage and reporting compliance within the Company’s Planful reporting tool. Document and develop KPI manual.
  • Provide analysis and tools, as necessary, to support key decisions in the company.
  • Work on specific unique projects which may call for reporting and analysis skills, including continuous improvement activities.
  • The person in this role should work well with the various team members in the department and the broader Insulet community.
