About The Position

The Finance Transformation Office is seeking a Manager, Finance Transformation to lead high-impact projects and workstreams across the CFO organization. This role will partner with Finance, Accounting, Technology, and business stakeholders to translate transformation priorities into clear scope, actionable plans, business requirements, delivery milestones, and adoption-ready outcomes. This is an individual contributor role designed for a strong project / workstream leader who can operate with independence, bring structure to ambiguous problems, and drive execution across cross-functional teams without requiring significant day-to-day coaching.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in project management, business analysis, consulting, finance transformation, finance operations, accounting, FP&A, process improvement, or a related function.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects, workstreams, or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process documentation, problem definition, and stakeholder facilitation.
  • Strong project delivery skills, including scope management, timeline management, risk / issue tracking, dependency management, and status reporting.
  • Ability to operate independently, structure ambiguous problems, and drive work forward with limited day-to-day direction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear, concise materials for leadership review.
  • Ability to influence and coordinate across stakeholders without direct authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Consulting or professional services experience.
  • Experience supporting finance transformation, process improvement, system-enabled change, UAT, adoption, controls, or benefits tracking.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve project delivery, documentation, analysis, or stakeholder communication.
  • PMP, CPA, CBAP, Lean Six Sigma, Scrum, or similar certification.
  • Experience building business cases, transformation roadmaps, implementation plans, or executive status reporting.
  • Experience working across both business and technology teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Finance transformation projects and workstreams from intake through planning, execution, implementation, adoption, and benefits tracking.
  • Partner with business sponsors and FTO leadership to clarify problem statements, define scope, assess readiness, document expected outcomes, and identify business value.
  • Facilitate stakeholder working sessions to gather requirements, document current-state pain points, define future-state processes, and align on implementation needs.
  • Develop project plans, process maps, business requirements, business case materials, status updates, risk / issue logs, decision trackers, and leadership-ready summaries.
  • Coordinate across Finance, Accounting, Technology, and other stakeholders to manage timelines, dependencies, decisions, risks, testing needs, and implementation readiness.
  • Support UAT and adoption planning, including test coordination, issue tracking, SOP updates, training readiness, cutover planning, and post-go-live follow-up.
  • Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, reduce manual work, strengthen controls, and improve Finance operating effectiveness.
  • Support benefits realization by defining success measures and tracking progress against expected outcomes.
  • Use AI-enabled tools where appropriate to improve documentation, analysis, status reporting, business case development, and project delivery efficiency.
