About The Position

This role manages a team responsible for the setup and reporting of GPO Admin Fees/Rebates, including P&L accruals and SAP Vistex setups. The position involves ensuring accuracy and timeliness of rebate processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, and working with technology partners to standardize and automate reporting. A key aspect of this role is fostering a strong SOX internal control structure and seeking opportunities for improvement, including SOP development and project management. The manager will also partner with upstream teams to standardize agreements and enhance Vistex integration, assist the team with complex customer activities, and act as a thought leader to business partners across Sales, Legal, Finance, Accounting, and Contracting. Collaboration on initiatives to improve customer experience and establishing team goals for growth and development are also expected.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 8-12 years of experience in related field, including but not limited to Accounting, Finance, or Audit, preferred
  • Accounting and Finance acumen
  • Ability to lead a team and influence others
  • Knowledge with SAP and legal contracts, preferred (revenue recognition standards is a plus)
  • Data mining experience, preferred (relevant application tool experience is a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Process improvement oriented
  • Strong SOX/internal control understanding

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Cardinal Health and Genpact individuals who oversee the GPO Admin Fees/Rebates setup and report creation functions, including P&L accruals, GPO Admin Fee/Rebate setups within SAP Vistex, and ad hoc reporting for key internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure GPO Admin Fees/Rebates are properly accrued for
  • Own first level review/approval responsibilities for non-standard incentive structures to ensure proper audit documentation is maintained and proper approvals are received
  • Oversee key GPO Admin Fee/Rebate accuracy and timeliness CSLs and KPIs
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to research and resolve root cause issues impacting accuracy or ability to set up GPO Admin Fees/Rebates timely; apply big picture knowledge to assess and interpret financial impact of process changes and resulting driver outcomes of GPO Admin Fee/Rebate set up changes
  • Work with various technology partners to develop a process to standardize, automate (where possible), and maintain GPO Admin Fee/Rebate reporting for both internal business partners and external customers.
  • Develop and maintain monthly process to store, reconcile, and validate GPO Admin Fee/Rebate reporting.
  • Foster a strong SOX internal control structure and seek opportunities for improvements, including build out of SOP processes and project development
  • Work with upstream teams to standardize agreements and driver further Vistex integration
  • Partner with Sustain and technology teams to plan for future systematic enhancements
  • Assist team with more complicated customer and transaction activities; oversee escalations to ensure closure in a timely manner
  • Partner with and be a thought-provoking leader to business partners across the organization to properly account for transactions, including but not limited to Sales, Legal, Finance, Accounting, and Contracting
  • Actively collaborate and support cross-functional team initiatives to improve customer experience, both internally and externally
  • Establish team- and individual-oriented goals for growth and development
