We are grateful to work on this land. We are currently hiring for the position of: MANAGER, MARKET EXHIBITION SALES. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Market Sales, the Manager, Exhibition Sales is responsible for driving exhibition revenue through the acquisition, management, and retention of exhibitors. This role oversees booth sales, develops strong client relationships, and ensures a seamless exhibitor experience from initial outreach through to post-event evaluation. The Manager plays a key role in achieving revenue targets and shaping the overall exhibition strategy in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–6 years of experience in sales, account management, sponsorship, exhibitions, or events
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a quota-driven, client-facing role
  • Experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills with the ability to identify upsell opportunities
  • Excellent relationship management skills with a focus on long-term client retention
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure, event-driven environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation ability
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multiple internal teams
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar) for pipeline and account management
  • Strong Excel/data skills for reporting, forecasting, and analysis
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including onsite support during event execution
  • Willingness to work extended hours during peak event periods
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond quickly in live event environments
  • Candidates must be legally able to work in Canada at this time.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in live events, trade shows, or conferences is considered an asset
  • Experience with project or event management tools is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Drive exhibition sales by securing new exhibitors and maintaining strong relationships with existing partners
  • Own and deliver revenue targets by proactively selling booth space, identifying upsell opportunities, and closing deals across diverse industry clients
  • Build and manage a strong, active pipeline of exhibitors to ensure consistent sales flow and conversion
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for exhibitors throughout the full lifecycle, including selection, booking, and event preparation
  • Support exhibitors to ensure a high-quality experience and strong satisfaction at every stage of engagement
  • Provide onsite support during the event, troubleshooting issues and ensuring a positive exhibitor experience
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of the exhibition floor plan based on demand, exhibitor value, and overall event objectives
  • Coordinate booth logistics including setup, move-in, and onsite execution in collaboration with operations and production teams
  • Help ensure smooth execution of the exhibition floor and quick resolution of issues during the event
  • Partner with sponsorship, programming, marketing, and operations teams to align exhibitor offerings with broader event strategy
  • Contribute insights to improve integration of exhibitors into the overall event experience
  • Support a collaborative, high-performance team culture across departments
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, contracts, and payments using internal systems
  • Track pipeline performance, forecast revenue, and report on progress throughout the sales cycle
  • Provide post-event reporting and analysis on results, trends, and opportunities for growth
  • Gather and share post-event insights on exhibitor experience, sales performance, and operational effectiveness
  • Recommend improvements to enhance future exhibition revenue and overall exhibitor satisfaction
