About The Position

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strategic mindset and a passion for joining the largest Innovation and Technology ecosystem in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will be responsible for formulating event strategies, ideating, planning, and implementing flagship events, conferences, exhibitions, community engagement programs, and new business initiatives. These efforts will support the continuous growth of the Corporation and enhance the vibrancy and diversity of the Science Park community. The successful candidate should be an innovative and result-driven professional, with strong collaborative skills and the boldness to tackle challenges and deliver exceptional outcomes.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or other related disciplines.
  • At least 10 years of work experience, preferably in event marketing and management within sizable organizations or multinational corporations, with at least 3 years of solid team leadership experience.
  • Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered.
  • Proven track record in ideating, content curating, and managing high-level, large-scale, and impactful events, along with expertise in creating professional, trendy, and effective marketing promotional materials.
  • Strong business acumen, with an in-depth understanding of global marketing trends and extensive experience in digital and content marketing.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in tackling challenges, driving remarkable results, and nurturing team growth.
  • Innovative, dynamic, goal-oriented, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work under tight schedules.
  • Strong industry network with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in both verbal and written English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Manager in strategically ideating, content curating, budgeting, planning, promoting, and managing impactful B2B and B2C events to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Assist the team in meeting and exceeding targeted goals by delivering high-quality, remarkable outcomes and proposing strategic, timely, and decisive changes in a dynamic environment.
  • Create and manage impactful marketing and promotional assets; research, analyze, and present the latest marketing trends and data from a global perspective.
  • Deliver engagement initiatives to foster a vibrant, actively engaging community among partner companies within the Science Park ecosystem.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
