About The Position

The Manager, EP & Cardiac Cath Labs is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all activities related to patient care within the Cath and EP Procedural Departments. This role involves directing the delivery of quality patient care and advanced imaging in a financially responsible manner, in collaboration with Cardiologists and other professional and support staff. The Manager will serve as a role model, facilitate staff growth through educational programs and unit rotations, and demonstrate knowledge of new products and equipment. This position offers professional growth and collaboration within a leading academic medical organization, leading a team dedicated to patient care.

Requirements

  • Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or equivalent subspecialty certification of accrediting body; including but not limited to RN, RCES, CEPS
  • Four years of experience in a either a high volume Cath and/or EP (2,000+ annual cases)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Achievement in developing, implementing, and maintaining successful customer service programs and improvements
  • RN, CEPS, RCES and/or RCIS
  • BLS, ACLS

Nice To Haves

  • Leadership experience is preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in health care or business management or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Two years minimum supervisory / management experience
  • Master of Business Administration, Master of Healthcare Administration or Master of Science in Nursing

  • Assisting staff as they rotate through the unit.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of new products and equipment related to the specialty areas.
