Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, foreign equivalent, or higher in Computer Science, Computer Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Five years of progressive experience developing Data Warehousing or Business Intelligence Applications.
  • Progressive experience with coding languages including SQL, Hive, R, Python, and Scala
  • Creating reports, dashboards, and summarizing large amounts of data into practical intelligence to drive business decisions
  • Using Business Intelligence tools, such as MicroStrategy, Tableau
  • Data warehousing, SQL, and data management concepts in Amazon RedShift or other columnar database management systems
  • Utilizing data management tools such as Informatica, SSIS, or Alteryx for data transfer and preparation
  • Using SQL for ad-hoc queries, performing data profiling writing complex queries, and creating, troubleshooting stored procedures
  • Using Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the core Marketing Analytics team to gather business requirements and translate them into tangible deliverables with clearly defined acceptance criteria.
  • Work with Hilton’s Technology and Data teams to design data models to support any reporting or automation initiative for measuring acceptance criteria and outcomes.
  • Lead the developing of reports, dashboards, and other forms of data visualizations to support strategic, tactical, and operational business decisions.
  • Supervise subordinates(s).
