Reporting to Manager, Social, Environmental, and Regulatory Affairs (SERA), the Manager, Engagement & Community Relations is responsible for leading the development and execution of community and Indigenous engagement strategies that support project advancement. This role collaborates closely with internal teams and liaises with community partners to plan, supervise, execute, and report on engagement activities and community initiatives while ensuring alignment with GCMC’s safety, environmental, regulatory, and social performance requirements. The position will be a hybrid work arrangement (office/remote) based in Smithers, BC and relocation assistance is available. Although the position is office-based, there will be regular travel throughout various Northern communities, including to those of our Indigenous partners and COIs (Communities of Interest). Time at the Galore Creek Project is also an expectation.
