About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the plant's electrical distribution network and utility systems. The position involves planning, organizing, and supervising all aspects of electrical maintenance, including preventive, predictive, and breakdown activities. Key responsibilities include managing electrical substations, power distribution systems, and associated equipment, while adhering to all statutory and safety requirements. The role also drives energy conservation initiatives, infrastructure upgrades, and optimization of electrical power consumption. Collaboration with statutory authorities like MSEDCL and the Electrical Inspectorate is crucial for approvals and compliance. The manager will lead contract manpower and service providers, conduct performance reviews, and monitor daily operations to ensure timely resolution of issues. Maintaining optimal inventory levels for electrical spares and consumables is also a key deliverable.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Power Distribution Systems, Electrical Maintenance Operations, and Safe Working Procedures.
• Strong experience in operation and maintenance of: 132 kV / 11 kV Electrical Substations, HT Distribution Systems, LT Distribution Systems, Industrial Electrical Utilities and Infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, statutory compliance, and energy management practices.
• Proven experience in leading electrical maintenance teams and managing utility operations.
• Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics or Bachelors of Technology.
• 10-15 Years of General Experience.

• Lead contract manpower and service providers, ensuring quality execution and periodic performance reviews.
• Monitor daily operations, ensure timely resolution of customer complaints, and escalate critical issues when necessary.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels of electrical spare parts and consumables to avoid operational disruptions.
