This Hybrid position will be in New Brunswick, NJ (USA). Alternate Hybrid locations may be considered at Raritan, NJ (USA), West Chester, PA (USA), Warsaw, IN (USA), Raynham, MA (USA), OR Loughbeg, Ringaskiddy OR St Anthony's Road, Leeds, UK. Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Safety, Information Systems, Analytics, or related field.
  • 6-8 + years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or digital systems management within regulated environments.
  • Experience with Intelex.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, reporting, and audit requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into digital and analytics solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Environmental Management, or similar.
  • Experience supporting ESG, sustainability reporting, or external disclosures.
  • Experience managing enterprise system deployments or major enhancements.
  • Experience with Tableau & Power BI.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as business owner and functional lead for EHS&S digital information management systems (e.g., incident management, compliance tracking, environmental reporting, audit management, sustainability data).
  • Define standard KPIs and metrics across health & safety, environmental, and sustainability, align digital system outputs with executive dashboards, scorecards, and leadership reporting and ensuring analytics reflect both leading and lagging indicators of EHS&S performance.
  • Lead system configuration, enhancements, releases, and continuous improvement in partnership with IT and vendors, acting as the primary interface between EHS&S, IT, digital, and vendors.
  • Ensure systems support regulatory reporting, internal audits, management reviews, and external disclosures.
  • Develop training materials and guidance for system users and EHS&S stakeholders.
  • Drive standardization of digital processes across sites and regions while allowing for approved local regulatory variations.
  • Own the EHS&S data lifecycle, from data creation and validation through retention, archival, and audit readiness.
  • Support leadership, board, and executive reporting requirements.
  • Build organizational capability in data literacy, system use, and analytics-driven decision-making.
  • Act as escalation point for system issues impacting EHS&S data integrity or reporting.
