About The Position

The Manager of Direct Marketing is responsible for managing the development, execution, and optimization of direct marketing campaigns. Responsible for all administrative and analytical support required by department and organization within Marketing across all Genting America’s East properties related to direct marketing functions as required. Duties include but are not limited to: License Level: This is a gaming-licensed position. This position may have access to sensitive customer information. Nothing in this description shall be interpreted to give this position the ability to make discretionary decisions or develop and implement policies that will have long term impact on gaming operations. Essential Functions: Develop and implement direct marketing strategies to support business goals including customer acquisition, retention, and reactivation. Manage the end-to-end execution of direct marketing campaigns including concept development, creative requests, segmentation, production, deployment scheduling, and performance analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics, advertising, and promotions and events to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign alignment. Oversee list management and segmentation strategies to target customers effectively and maximize ROI. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory guidelines. Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and timelines related to direct marketing activities. Works with departments across the organization to identify, develop and execute opportunities for marketing through direct marketing channels. Review and maintain annual departmental budget, track expenditures and manage efficiency Leads and manages multiple projects simultaneously and setting priorities to ensure timely completion Processes and maintains a thorough understanding of our Casino Management Systems and related database report writing software Assists in hiring, directing, training and development of staffing, supervision and training of marketing staff Facilitates and ensures that performance reviews of all employees within the department are completed on a yearly basis Core Competencies: Demonstrates consistent regard and dedication to guests, vendors, colleagues and the Company by being engaged, interested and productive Demonstrates a working knowledge of our marketplace; actively and collaboratively assists in building the best practices necessary for the Company’s success Demonstrates an understanding of the impact actions and decisions have on the Company both financially and on guest relations Demonstrates the courage and initiative to present new ideas and perspective to create positive results Exhibits respectful consideration of viewpoints, situations and others Put the guest at the forefront of every decision Essential Requirements: Experience coordinating and executing campaigns across various direct marketing channels such as direct mail, email, SMS, telemarketing, and digital retargeting from list generation to approval of lives during deployment. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices in handling customer data securely and ethically. Advanced knowledge of all legal and regulatory guidelines. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Access. Knowledge of relational database management systems including SQL and or Oracle. Previous experience with database software/web applications. Fluency in data management and reporting tools. Administration: Manages property calendars to successfully complete monthly communication schedules Input invoices and track expenses Assists in creative review process with Advertising and Promotions Assist in special projects Maintains a professional appearance at all times Promote positive public and team member relations Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience coordinating and executing campaigns across various direct marketing channels such as direct mail, email, SMS, telemarketing, and digital retargeting from list generation to approval of lives during deployment.
  • Ability to review and contribute to compelling marketing copy that drives engagement.
  • Ability to manage relationships with external vendors to ensure campaign delivery.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices in handling customer data securely and ethically.
  • Advanced knowledge of all legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Access.
  • Knowledge of relational database management systems including SQL and or Oracle.
  • Previous experience with database software/web applications.
  • Fluency in data management and reporting tools.
  • Must be 18 years or older and have the ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate license pursuant to the New York Gaming Commission regulations
  • BA/BS in related field and/or a combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Four (4) years’ experience in data management
  • Minimum of (2) two years’ experience with forward facing marketing programs with special consideration for analytical team supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a resort casino strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of all property marketing systems including property CMS, gaming and hospitality systems
