The Credit and Fraud Risk (CFR) Organization within American Express focuses on driving profitable business growth by reducing credit and fraud risk and maintaining customer confidence in product security. It employs various tools and evolving technology to detect and combat risk, minimize disruption to good spending, and provide a world-class customer experience. The Digital Risk Products & Data Strategy (RPDS) team within CFR is fundamental to all risk decisions and is responsible for building digital software products for risk management across the customer lifecycle, including Onboarding, Credit Underwriting, Authorizations, and Collections for both card and non-card businesses globally. As a member of this team, you will collaborate with top industry talent to develop innovative risk products that enhance market share and business practices. This role is for individuals interested in building innovative digital risk products, translating business needs into effective solutions, and contributing to the Risk Products team. We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the comprehensive product strategy, execution, and delivery of new features for risk decisioning platform products. The focus will be on scalability, resilience, performance, and developer productivity. This position involves defining product requirements, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring the successful implementation of platform modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience with large-scale platform modernization, risk/authorization processes, and strong stakeholder management skills.
