Manager (Developer) (full-time; multiple openings) needed in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to design, develop, test, and implement software applications and client-specific system solutions. Serve as technical lead across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support. Analyze user requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications and scalable application designs. Develop and modify application code; create data models, workflows, and integration solutions. Evaluate system feasibility within time and cost constraints; identify and resolve technical and operational issues; optimize application performance and reliability. Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree (or foreign equiv) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business, Information Technology, or related field, plus two (2) years of IT experience.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equiv) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business, Information Technology, or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate IT experience.
  • One (1) year of technical IT work experience with any one of the following skill sets: AEM configurations, Shell Scripting, and Jenkins; COBOL, JCL, and Mainframe; OR SQL Server, Power BI, and MicroStrategy OLAP Services or Microsoft .Net Framework.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and implement software applications and client-specific system solutions.
